Kevin Hamilton will present his new public art project, a locally-produced and funded comic book on Urbana’s history, at the Champaign Historical Archives. This small-run comic book tells a story of Urbana-Champaign as one of convergence, in which geography, geology and technology conspire to facilitate an influential meeting of minds before a national television audience.

The books focuses on a television broadcast in 1968 in which a local activist took the stage to provoke deep reflection on the part of university researchers far and wide.
